Here's hoping.
What exactly? A coaltion between the conservatives and fascists or a new election with the fascists gaining 25+% of the vote.
The neat thing is if a government including the far right happens, we have a constitutional right to resist. That means we would have the right to overthrow such a government and can then finally ban the far right and hopefully their conservative and liberal lackeys too.
Congratulation! I am sure the fascists will support the right to overthrow them the best they can. They really love democratic constitutions....
What the government wants does not matter if there are enough people who can storm government buildings, police stations, encircle army bases, etc.
The AfD will not disappear by debating it. We've already experienced what liberalism and civility does during the Weimar period. The only way to get rid of any fascist is with bullets and bombs and without any mercy.
There is one thing fascists are right about and that is that only power matters. Might makes right. So if you have the might to exterminate fascists, things will go right. The press, media, public opinion, laws, rights, etc. all don't matter as long as you can seize and hold onto power.
