Problem is, the supporters strongly believe the election was stolen and that the way the votes were counted was illegal. My parents are Trump supporters, I just can't believe what comes out of their mouths when they talk about this stuff. And I don't know where they get it, probably watching fox news 24x7 , I don't know. But they truly believe that Trump should have won, Biden is an imposter, and all this legal trouble Trump is in is just the evil left trying to shut him down because they feel threatened by him, that he's never done anything wrong. When you have people that believe that kind of stuff, of course they're willing to send money to help with legal battles, they believe he's innocent, they believe the coup to take over the government wasn't Jan 6th, it was on election day. They're so brainwashed.
