Hexbear is about to join the lemmy community. We should preemptively de-federate from them as it's full of hate and extremist content.

yes! if you hate the hate then you hate and you should be less hateful and let them harass everyone else while you do nothing because you're very passive and that's good because the meek will inherit the world i think i read that somewhere right right i think so yes

FYI: This is called the paradox of tolerance

Philosopher Karl Popper described the paradox of tolerance as the seemingly counterintuitive idea that “in order to maintain a tolerant society, the society must be intolerant of intolerance.” Essentially, if a so-called tolerant society permits the existence of intolerant philosophies, it is no longer tolerant.
