Yeah, they all speak of "oneness", but again, no one is falling over themselves to get reassimilated.

Even Hugh accepted death over it.

And that's taking into account that the nanites literally rewrite their brain to make them feel that way.

When 7/9 was cut off from the network it begged to go back and felt horror and revulsion when ots implants began to decay. Janeway said tough nuts, you're a human now whether you like it or not. Janeway is a kinphobe.
