"Winning Time" has battled lower viewership and criticism from former Lakers players. The strike contributed to the show being canceled.

The best show on HBO in years. They are fucking dumb. It didn't even look expensive to produce the whole thing takes place in like 5 places.

It was doing well enough ratings wise. After the merger they're only going to put money into sure things. Prepare for more garbage lowest common dominominator content. Superheros!!!!! Although, gotta say I did really enjoy peacemaker. It's like so dumb and intentionally bad, it's like it's making fun of the whole genre.
