Those in government have been elected by us. Those in the deep web are anonymous grifters which we can't even do a background check on.

So you can't possibly know.

Politicians are scum, but there is definitely even bigger scum in the world.

Nothing doubtful thinking people we can clearly look up are less shady than the people we can't.
