For those of you who aren't familiar with the project, Skyblivion is remake of Oblivion inside the Skyrim game engine. They're remaking all of the assets and overhauling the maps, among other things. It's one of the most ambitious mods of all time, slated to release in 2025.

This trailer was released back in January, but it seems many haven't heard the good news or even learned of the project yet. With the five year anniversary of the TES VI announcement and nothing to show for it, you'll probably get to play this before Bethesda gives us anything.

Wild, a 17 year old game, remade in a 10 year old game. That's a ton of work and dedication from the developers of this project. Hats off to them.

Right? They have a sister project too called Skywind, a remake of Morrowind—which just recently turned 21 years old!

I remember hearing something about that. I really should check it out, as a scrub who never actually finished Morrowind.
