Dutch speakers are a small minority on lemmy and I'm glad there are a few Dutch communities here. Seeing all the almost dead Dutch city comms, we might have been too ambitious about how many people from those cities would be on lemmy. Maybe a consolidation is due to get communities a productive userbase that has a chance to poke out above local. Maybe topic based instead of location based Dutch communities? Can we somehow steal firefox' local translator for lemmy to be an inclusive bilingual server?
Furthermore the delays between servers seem to be huge. I often get new, 8h old replies to my comments, that is no base to even try a discussion.
