Just after he said "oh noes if you vote for her, taxes would go up 25 to 30 per cent and businesses would flee the city."

Quite the about-face. His handlers must've told him to change his tune.

I mean this is standard behavior every election... outgoing guy says "So and so will be a great leader. Democracy has spoken, etc." I know in this case they're not the outgoing person but standard politics 101.

I see no change in tune. He basically said that things will go smoothly if she plays by his rules.
