In search of bean-based recipes that don’t require a lot of steps or ingredients or equipment. I’m looking for more comfy staples that I can make while I’m not feeling well. Any ideas?

  1. Make four slices of doorstep toast under the grill.
  2. Simultaneously nuke a tin of Heinz English Recipe baked beans in the microwave.
  3. Tip the hot beans onto the toast.
  4. Add a layer of mature cheddar.
  5. Optional splash of Worcester sauce
  6. Grill until the cheese browns and bubbles.

Serves two.

Et voilà, Cheese Beanos. You're most welcome.
