No, "bactose" is a product name. It's bacteria pills that produce lactase. I put a typo in it tho and will try and correct my other comment.

Lactase is the "ingredient", so you may find a generic brand. I use lactaid or the kirkland brand but I was able to find lactase in Mexico when we forgot our pills during a trip
