Cleaned up a fish shop 60L tank and did my first aquascape with river rocks, wood and plants.

What kind of fish are you planning on keeping? That question determines a lot of the feedback you will get.

For example, if you plan on dwarf cichlids like my Apisto Agassizi, that isn’t enough cover as they like and feel safe with lots of plants and things to hide amongst. My bbs love the two red tiger lotuses for this exact reason!

Other than that, I do think it looks great! Could use more plants in the surrounding areas but I’m biased because I’m a gardner both in and out of water lol

Yea, I've been looking at it for a while and I think it needs more elevation and more caves/hiding places.

I do plan on taking clippings of the plants as they grow to bulk out the greenery.

As for what fish, I'm thinking tetras, thinking something small.

Good way to handle the plants! Buying new ones can be expensive so clippings are great over time.

As for the blank space, a few smallish-mediumish pebbles/rocks/twigs just as decoration could help add some texture to the grey “lawn”

Looks good so far :) excellent job
