I create a new KDE style called Brise.
(floss.social)
KDE is an international technology team creating user-friendly free and open source software for desktop and portable computing. KDE’s software runs on GNU/Linux, BSD and other operating systems, including Windows.
If you encounter a bug, proceed to https://bugs.kde.org, check whether it has been reported.
If it hasn't, report it yourself.
PLEASE THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE POSTING HERE.
Developers do not look for reports on social media, so they will not see it and all it does is clutter up the feed.
Thanks!
I know how stupid this sounds, but I have trouble using or even remembering software until I know how it's spelled and pronounced. Same with human names, really. Does this rhyme with the English word "eyes," or "ice," or neither? Or does it sound exactly like "breeze?"
In German, BRISE is exactly sounding like English BREEZE and means the same. I don't know French, but my translator says BRISE means "BROKEN" in French, and being French, I can only assume you pronounce the first few letters, then make a sound like clearing your throat.
Broken would be "brisé", not " brise"
Brise is either "breaks", i.e. " he/she breaks", or breeze, as in "a light breeze".
Also, it's prounounced breeze in french. Although the r sound is, well, french.
