I really enjoyed Dead Space! I'm usually not a big horror game fan. Graphically it looks awesome and the gameplay is great. (lemmy.nz)

I never played the original, but as it's on Gamepass via EA play decided to give it a go. It got me hooked immediately and found it hard to put down. Never got boring. It was too difficult for me on normal, easy was better for me. Hopefully they will remake 2 and 3 as well. I enjoy good graphics so not sure I enjoy the originals.

I just started in on this over the holiday weekend, and I agree: a total blast! It's giving me heavy Mass Effect vibes crossed with exploring the derelict ships in No Man's Sky

Excellent graphics, tight controls, great lighting, tense soundtrack. The amount of ammo and health pick ups are just enough to squeak by and keep you on your toes without being too challenging. It's really forcing me to try out all the weapons.

I'm in chapter 7 right now and just loving it!
