How is living with it for primary use? It sounds appealing versus a plumbed in system or countertop on-demand reverse osmosis, but it’s a big space user

I bought it for our RV - it's a great option there. Even with the two element model we can easily keep up with water needs for a family of three. The issue at home is just that it does take up a lot of counter space.
