I’d say it’s not overkill if you’re going for high frame rates, not to mention it should age well for 1080p years into the future. If you wanted to focus more on performance right now and you don’t want crazy high framer rates then a 6650xt could be a way to save money.

I have a 144hz monitor so not huge framerate but enough for the graphics card I think. I don't really play competitive games though, so it doesn't matter THAT much. Where I live I can buy a used 6700 XT for close to the price of a new 6650 XT, not sure if that's worth it.

I wouldn’t be afraid of used stuff but definitely ask questions about it. Is it a local listing or something shipped on eBay etc?

It's a famous online shop here. There's a bunch of them but none have ratings. The shop is very reliable though. The cheapest I found is going for $376.73 which is a really good price in comparison to the $400+ cards that are usually available. That said it was used for mining, I'm not sure if that's a deal breaker or not.

I’m not sure what currency you’re working with but I would consider that price I. The US too high for a mined on card. It’s not that cards that are mined on should be avoided completely but they do need to be thoroughly inspected and marked down considerably. T Does this website have buyer protection? Would you also be comfortable re pasting a card and cleaning it? If both of those questions can be answered yes and the price makes sense for your currency I don’t see why not.
