It brings a tear of joy to my eye when I see someone promoting soulseek.
Soulseek is an old friend who I can credit most my music taste to.
Soulseek introduced me to so much new music! It was also the first software I had encountered that would randomize its port on connect -- or at least let you customize it -- to avoid firewalls.
Yeah there are so many bands I probably wouldn't have found without soulseek and an audiophile with perfectly organised folder system.
