Anyone here going to get a Commander X16? (self.retrocomputing)

I was super excited about it but, now that I missed out on the first batch (yes I would have paid the $500), I'm not sure I'm going to buy it unless I can see there's a good community around it. The official forum is kind of dull. I don't have Facebook which, based on what 8-bit Guy has said, is the most active place for discussion, so I don't know how the vibe is over there.

I'm seriously considering it, but I would get the kit version if and when it's offered. I spend my days doing all sorts of building.
