Tbqh I think a lot of the "long covid" symptoms are just things people weren't treating before.
Didn't deny long covid was a thing, but I'm glad you agree it isn't the primary reason why the morbidly obese are developing diabetes.
You gave 'em the benefit of the doubt, but you can take it right back. :-)
Something tells me I can guess what you think gave you diabetes.

I think it's just that we never really addressed the fact that you don't fully bounce back from illness. But then suddenly, everyone got this serious illness, and at the same time we realized "I just don't feel like I did before, even now that I've recovered"
That's just my personal feeling, it's not based on much except our attitudes about illness
