“I don’t understand why,” Fetterman said, speaking on “Morning Joe” on MSNBC. “I don’t know what’s in it for you to do that whether you’re just chasing clout or you want to make it in the news or anything like that. But if you’re not willing to just support the president now and say these kinds of things, you might as well just get your MAGA hat, because you now are helping Trump with this.”
I am deeply, deeply embarrassed that I voted for this guy. What’s more I was enthusiastic about him. My vote wasn’t the deciding one but I have quite literally felt sick to my stomach about the fact that my name is on the record having cast a vote for him. On the other hand, it’s really Impressive how quickly he’s done the speed run from “progressive” to outright fascist. I won’t be fooled again and I hope his family disowns him
If I had lived in PA - I would have voted or him too. I wouldn't have wanted Senator Doctor Oz. Even though I didn't live in the state - I was curious about him so I googled and I read a few thing. I knew he'd be bad on Israel, bad on fracking, and I wondered how progressive he actually was.
He created a playbook that the dems will use for decades. They'll lie to get elected. Once they're in office - they'll give a middle finger to progressives. They'll point at Trump and the republicans and say - look, do you want them or us? They'll cozy up to the donor class and run their reelection on being a dem who says crap like they are making hard choices for the American people.
I knew he was bad on Israel when I voted for him but who could have known what would have have happened last fall. Our other senator is a centrist, normal lib who actually has some decent votes to his name. I will never bother voting for Fetterman again.
