2016 was a turning point for 4ch when everybody with the slightest bit of right-wing leanings flooded the site after they heard what a safe space for them that /pol was, ignoring that /pol was the political containment board. The past 8 years have pretty much been those recent users, lovingly called polchuds, forgetting the purpose of a containment board and starting right-wing political discussion on other boards. This pushes good-faith users off the site and brings more polchuds on other boards in a snowball-effect. I'm saying that /n, the transportation board, has been least effected by these changes and still has a lot of the same type of discussion as it did pre-2016.
/n is unironically probably the least-affected board of the 2016 /polchud era
What happened?

I have never met an asshole train person. I mean they might exist, but I haven't seen one.
And due to my hobbies, I have met a lot of train persons.
There's something about their enthusiasm
Oh you've clearly never seen the Gaijin bicyclist train photobomb video
I don't think the biker was a train person, more like an asshole person. The trainspotters were fully right in their annoyance.
Thanks
