Tumblr and Wordpress to Sell Users’ Data to OpenAI to Train AI Tools::Internal documents obtained by 404 Media show that Tumblr staff compiled users' data as part of a deal with Midjourney and OpenAI.

It defaults to opt-out ONLY if you have already told it to prevent other forms of scraping, such as search engines. Otherwise you are opted in by default.
