The intro to one of the greatest kids shows of the 90s. It's the song "Hey Sandy" by the band Polaris.

I am aware of Pete & Pete, but I've never really watched it. I guess it just flew under my radar.

However, I will say that intro is 10/10 good feels, and now I want to check it out.
