Nintendo recently announced they will be shutting down online services for the 3ds. Is this going to affect homebrew? (self.3dshacks)

Sorry if it's a common question I can't afford a 3ds right now but I want to have one in the future.

Idk much but besides setting a time limit for reverse engineering I doubt it'll change much, don't take my word for it tho
