Not a humorous situation
I agree but it does say "depressing comic week" at the top.
Not that it would make it any better, but where does it say this? I don't see it in the image, the post title, description.
The top banner has transparency. I had to switch to light mode to be able to see it outside of the image preview.
At the top of the image. Its a yearly thing they do.
Thanks, I see it now but only because I took my phone app out of dark mode.
Idk if op edited it since but it's right at the very top of the image. Their *depressing comics aren't usually this uncomfortable though.
Wow, I can barely make it out as black text on a nearly black background. Using Jerboa in dark mode makes the text nearly invisible on my phone
It appears the background outside the panels is transparent so it will depend on how your app renders it. Looking now I see it's not visible viewing the thumbnail on Sync but it's visible when I open it.
Their depressing comics are absolutely this uncomfortable. This isn't even the worst by a very long shot.
I've been a fan since there were 4 of them but this one just hit different.

Hello fellow Cyanide and Happiness fans!
About this community and how I post the comics… Many moons ago, I would ask my Dad to save the newspaper for me everyday so I could read my favorite comic strips. Of course these days you can read your favorite comics online instead of a newspaper, but I love the nostalgia of reading the daily comics. Anyway, one of my favorite current comics is Cyanide and Happiness and I will be posting the daily release from their website (https://explosm.net) and a an extra or two randoms.
Cyanide & Happiness (C&H) is a webcomic created by Rob DenBleyker, Kris Wilson, Dave McElfatrick and Matt Melvin. The comic has been running since 2005 and is published on the website explosm.net along with animated shorts in the same style.
