Bonus SLPT: Use sugar water instead of regular water. Sugar helps make up for lowering the energy density when diluting your gas.
If you really want to get maximum range, soak a few tampons or maxi pads in the sugar water mixture and insert them into the gas tank. They'll absorb the liquid and slowly release it over time, increasing your fuel efficiency.

Drop a handful of baby aspirin into your gas tank every morning, to thin out the gas a bit.
I've been mixing it 50/50 with water like antifreeze.
