One one hand, if Trump goes to prison it won't be Trump vs Biden 2024 but on the other hand, this would mean DeSantis vs Biden in 2024. At least Trump is an idiot. DeSantis is more calculated and strategic about all the bad stuff he does.

I don't think DeSantis has any chance in general elections with his cultural woke nonsense. It's just not what normie voters care about.

There are a lot of enlightened centrists that will completely ignore actual harmful Republican policies that they disagree with, but condemn Democrats getting a little condescending. It's why you can never fully trust when the public supports a certain agenda. They don't always vote the same way.

If it starts in May according to this timeline, I really wonder if it’ll be done before general elections. Especially if there are any appeals.
