Posted this to reddit some time back, reposting here because I want to contribute some content and help lemmy gain popularity.

I hope that in a few weeks I will be posting an updated version of the setup with the laptop replaced by a third monitor and a few other modifications.

Beautiful, clean setup. What model of Thinkpad do you use?

Thanks!

This was Thinkpad E14 Gen 2. It died not long after taking this photo though.

That is very clean looking. I can never get my monitors to line up properly

Thanks!

Yup, aligning the monitors became my obsession after completing this setup. Now I actually have the right monitor rotated to vertical position. This is both more comfortable for me and it makes little misalignments less visible so I don't have to adjust it all the time.

Dark side forever. Love it.

Those monitor arms look clean AF, what model are those?

I bought it under a "HAKNER" brand but I'm afraid this won't really help you because they just seem to be a Polish importer. When I posted this to reddit, someone actually found this: Jarvis Single Monitor Arm. I can't vouch for this because it's not where I bought it, but from the photos it looks identically, to the smallest detail.

which type of mount do you use for your laptop? i have been wanting to get something to hold my laptop like that for better cooling, but dunno what to get.

It's pretty much just a metal plate with some holes, I wouldn't worry to much about it.

For me, it was surprisingly hard to find one with the correct dimensions and color (white). After quite a lot of searching I just bought the only one I found matching the criteria. It was called "PureMounts PM-ADAPT-A" on Amazon. It attaches to the monitor arm through a VESA mount.

I love the thinkpad sitting right next to the other monitors
