I'm enjoying the new council system immensely! Adds alot more worth to the leaders of my empire and I feel like it really embellishes the story making aspect. Though it's no longer really viable to spam a bunch of scientists at the beginning of the game, but I feel like going one or two leaders over the cap isn't too bad of a resource penalty in the long run. Thoughts?

I haven't tried the new update, since there were perfomance issues (in full screen the game didn't start normally I guess). How do you manage your leaders? Is it a quality-over-quantity upgrade?

I like how if you are playing as a machine intelligence the council members are reflavored as immortal "cores" and one of the council agendas lets you "edit out" the "bugs" (remove negative traits)

Really enjoying the leader mechanics and the new dimension it adds to setting up an empire, right now I'm trying fitting as many admirals onto my council as possible to stack the starbase buffing trait from strategists.
