How has Hot filter been changed on Lemmy version 0.18.3? (lemm.ee)

I've read some people saying that it's better. How has it changed?

I was getting posts that are months old when I sorted by Hot. They fixed it and now posts are actually "Hot".

Still showing month old posts with 0 comments for me. Maybe need to wait for all the servers to update before we see a real improvement?

Yes and no, it is your instance's backend that is responsible for this behavior. Once your instance is up-to-date, you should not see these old results any more. No need to wait for all other servers 😉

My server is up to date, must be a bug somewhere still.

EDIT: seems that most of the month old posts showing up are from one particular user at beehaw

EDIT2: and now it appears to be working properly (at least there are no month-old zero-comment posts on the first page.)
