Or at least parts of it. I was able to get the first 0.001 Moneros today only using solar power on P2Pool Mini Sidechain. I am exited.

Man I wish I had solar at home. Solar powered p2pool mining is the most based thing you can do.

Crypto Currencies only make sense for me when the can be run mainly by green energy, everyone can participate without special hardware and if privacy is guranteed . Thats why i think Bitcoin sucks. Mainly the Bitcoin farms using places where energy is cheap and dirty, you need expensive hardware to mine it yourself and it is not private at all.

Awesome! I've been wanting to try out solar mining lately. Any recommendations on hardware (not computer, but solar stuff)? I am a noob when it comes to that stuff.

I got 4x 400W Panels and an Hoymiles HM-1500 Micro Grid converter. Because the alignment of the panels is not ideal ich can roughly generate approx. 8 kWh on a sunny day in the summer. Washingmachine etc. do not eat that all up so i use the rest to mine.
