Not sure if chlorine haze or green highlighter

[-] echodot@feddit.uk 36 points 1 year ago

Who needs Photoshop when you have MS Paint?

[-] LordOfTheChia@lemmy.world 12 points 1 year ago

Are we sure it's edited and they didn't just spray paint that part of the window green?

They didn’t even stay within the lines!

The grass looks great to me

[-] subnuggurat@lemmy.world 6 points 1 year ago

What grass?

[-] teydam@kbin.social 13 points 1 year ago

"Hey mom! I cut the grass!"

[-] saucyloggins@lemmy.world 10 points 1 year ago

The grass is the obvious issue but what is up what that fence? Why even have one at that point? What are they keeping out? Foliage?

[-] Johem@lemmy.world 18 points 1 year ago

It's keeping the chlorine gas in, obviously.

[-] WhiskyTangoFoxtrot@lemmy.world 7 points 1 year ago

Even a small barrier will slow an advancing army enough to give defending forces the advantage. It's more difficult to step over obstructions like these when you're on the march in full armour and if you want to being supply carts, siege engines, etc. through then you'll have to break a hole in the barrier.

Bloody hell 30k? For paint? Villagers were right, use that money for actual investment into shrubs and trees.

[-] Treczoks@lemm.ee 9 points 1 year ago

There are companies that actually dye your grass green in the US. Very handy if you are caught between a municipal law that forbids watering the lawn and a wacky HOA that DeMaNdS the lawn to be green, or else!

[-] heeplr@feddit.de 2 points 1 year ago

Wait, HOA statutes beat state law in the US? wow..

[-] Treczoks@lemm.ee 3 points 1 year ago

They don't beat them as such. The law only says that you are not allow to water your lawn. The HOA just fines you for letting the grass "deteriorate". They don't care about why it deteriorates, as long as they can fine you.

[-] TIEPilot@lemmy.world 5 points 1 year ago

Wow, really? How about some water and fertilizer? Or better yet let it go wild and get them bee's having a ladies night on those flowers!

The grass is greener over the fence

[-] FistfulOfStars@kbin.social 4 points 1 year ago

"Beautiful back yard, just make sure to wear your respirator so you don't inhale the demonic miasma that was ground zero for the zombie outbreak."

[-] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

What, doesn't your grass blur over the walls and the fence?

[-] wander1236@sh.itjust.works 8 points 1 year ago

Yes, I live in a Bethesda game

[-] weariedfae@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 year ago

I've seen these posts in the wilds of redfin but never this bad.

[-] MrSebSin@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 year ago

Angry upvote

[-] SomeoneElse@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

The badrealestatepics account on Instagram posted it 4 years ago but I can’t find a listing. Might be too old. There’s tons of poorly photoshopped estate agent photos out there though.

[-] echodot@feddit.uk 1 points 1 year ago

It's just grown tall. And wide.

[-] An_Ugly_Bastard@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

Unfortunately for them, the market has cooled. People will want to go see the house first. Two years ago, they would have 10 offers above asking in the first few hours.

[-] echodot@feddit.uk 3 points 1 year ago

Regardless of the market buying houses without looking at them first is a recipe to get an absolute disaster of a property.

[-] Album@lemmy.ca 1 points 1 year ago

Dunno where you live but the market has not cooled on the north east coast. Offers 100k over asking minimum, no conditions, as is.

[-] Ddhuud@lemmynsfw.com 2 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

The grass is greener on the other side

[-] Smorty@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 3 months ago

The grass looks fine behind the fence! Why are they painting over it?

[-] VieuxQueb@lemmy.ca 0 points 1 year ago

Well there used to be the kiss of death from a old site but now it's from lemmy !

Can't see the picture due to too high traffic!
