A bit older picture (Sept. 2022). Altough wild camping is allowed in Norway, it is not that easy to find a suitable spot where the tent can be anchored sufficiently and it is acceptably flat ... But seeing a herd of reindeers (in the background) does excuse much :)

Holy shit, that is awesome.

I was cycling south from Tromsø last year but sadly did not see any reindeer.

I saw moose (elk) though, that was something.

I think you were more lucky with the moose, they are so shy...

To see reindeers you probably would have needed to go a bit further north - the sheep on the street in the south are replaced with reindeer on the street in the north I would say

Haha, i got the sheep on the street further south, way further south though iirc.

With the moose.. at first i didn't realize what i was seeing, i had just woke up and left my camp and thought what the hell is this sculpture in the field, that wasn't here yesterday!? They were very close, two mooses, just standing still. They're huge! Was awesome to see them.
