RULES
- Be respectful: no harassment, hate speech, bigotry, and/or trolling.
- Encourage conversation in your OP. This means including heavily implicative subject matter when you can and also engaging in your thread when possible.
- Avoid controversial topics (e.g. politics or societal debates).
- Stay calm: Donβt post angry or to vent or complain. We are a place where everyone can forget about their everyday or not so everyday worries for a moment. Venting, complaining, or posting from a place of anger or resentment doesn't fit the atmosphere we try to foster at all. Feel free to post those on !goodoffmychest@lemmy.world

Finally the weekend π
Aw man, I am so glad I survived the work week and finally get to relax.
Been sick since April 1st and have completely lost my voice. I saw my GP today who put me off work for at least another week, which is pretty wild as I've never had so much sick time. But I really can't talk much at all and my job is mostly on the phone. I'm going to end up on attendance management this year, which is fucking dumb but oh well, I can't help how sick I've been. My SO is fucking furious at me about it, but I get paid so what's the difference. My workload to return to terrifies me though. But that's the manager's fault and not mine. It's making me super anxious though.
