Planning on camping around mid-July and even though many areas are low forest fire risk (green) in the map all of Ontario has a total burn ban in effect.

I'm not in Ontario and just curious what peoples' thoughts are there?

It depends in part on the rain situation over the next few weeks, which is not predictable. I suggest you plan your camping trip with the assumption that the burn ban will still be in effect.

I’ll be camping early July and just picked up a propane bbq for our trailer, as I don’t see the fire ban lifting any time soon. Probably won’t be able to cook over a fire, so bring a gas stove or something equivalent.

Too bad as I bought a Firebox Ti and was stoked to try it out. Guess I'll invest in a burner.
