I don't want an AI button on my mouse, I want the frictionless free scrolling mouse wheel they used to have on a lot of their mice. You could easily zoom through large documents or effortlessly scroll through long webpages.
And better build quality because their recent mice have had shit QC.

Speaking of which, I'd like to take a moment to tell Logitech to go F themselves for bringing this stupid AI prompt builder to Options+. It's unnecessary bloat and nobody wants it.

That's pretty much it. Just a shortcut to an AI tool, so being mappable is a huge positive so people can actually use the button.
Definitely a gimmick.
But I remember there being a mouse/gamepad that really did us AI to fine tune aim in first person shooters. I think Ars did an article on those too. Not sure if it was commercially available or just someone filing a patent tho.
"AI" is to the 2020's what "Cyber" was to the early 2000's; something marketing will slap onto any product in an attempt to make it seem more high tech
