Took some getting used to - but after only a day I'm already back up to my usual typing speed and loving this setup!

Do you find the tilted keyboard makes up for not being able to rest your wrists?

For ergonomic typing you actually should never be resting your wrists while typing - so it's less that it "makes up" for not being able to rest my wrists, and more that it encourages good habits by not making it easy to rest my wrists while typing.

For when I'm not typing, if I wanted, I guess i could buy something like this for either side, but honestly i don't find myself needing it - I generally either keep my hands in the typing position while I'm working or have them in my lap when I'm reading.

I will admit though that I do rest my elbows on my chair's armrest while typing, which you're not actually supposed to do, but as I understand it, that's a relatively negligible point

Ergonomic, split and other weird keyboards

Rules

Keep it ergo

Posts must be of/about keyboards that have a clear delineation between the left and right halves of the keyboard, column stagger, or both. This includes one-handed (one half doesn't exist, what clearer delineation is that!?)

i.e. no regular non-split¹ row-stagger and no non-split¹ ortholinear²

¹ split meaning a separation of the halves, whether fixed in place or entirely separate, both are fine.
² ortholinear meaning keys layed out in a grid
