I am searching for a job and require my phone number to be included on my resume. Is there a service available in the EU (excluding the UK) that can provide this.

Having a phone number for potential employers to call you is important, this is one of those things that’s kinda silly

Yes, but I wouldn't like them to find my profile on one of the social networks that require a phone number. I might've said something not so nice about my current job, you know.

Get a cheap new phone number? Your potential employer will find out your identity eventually when you start working there no? What's the issue with having to use ID to get a new line? You put a fake name on your resume?

There's things like taking privacy too far you know :)

That's exactly the point: get a cheap new phone number, preferrably one that doesn't link back to your identity. And it's typically an online service, otherwise it's not gonna be cheap or private (in my country anyway).

I'd do the opposite from what OP wants: a second line for online platforms.

I don't think avoiding your potential employer seeing you reposting something like fuckworkmemes is taking privacy too far 😉

They don't provide end-user apps, do they? It's just APIs and SDKs.

True. But if you just want to forward SMS messages and phone calls to a different number in a different country you can do that just with configuration.

Yes. Unless you are a developer about to develop an app or are an organization, don't touch Twilio.

I use Twilio for some testing and alerting and this is advenced control panel there.

Thanks for this suggestion, I'm trying it out right now. It looks promising!

Edit: It requires identity verification

MoneroSMS, but first I'd try +353 0000000000
