From the creator of the wonderful Secret Life of Machines of the 1970's. This is a really fun and relaxing series that goes in-depth in a very approachable and non-rigid way of various componants and tools that would likely come in handy for a maker.

He’s posted remastered versions of “Secret Life of Machines” as well, and the series still holds up as relevant and enjoyable.

This community is a central space for makers and creators of all types. Woodworking is just as welcome as 3d printing, welding can go alongside programming robots run by micro controllers.

"Look what I made" is welcome, as is "This is how to make it".

The important thing is to create something, and get inspired by other people's creations.

Keep it civil and uplifting.
