I left Reddit after /u/spez continued to lie about the changes being made to the API. After finding kbin I wanted to read more AITA posts like I could on Reddit, but after finding none I created this (kbin.social)

I left Reddit after /u/spez continued to lie about the changes being made to the API. After finding kbin I wanted to read more AITA posts like I could on Reddit, but after finding none I created this magazine at https://kbin.social/m/amitheasshole so that I could encourage others to make such posts.

I could have waited for long-standing Reddit moderators to come here and make it but I skipped the line to do it myself. AITA for not waiting?

NTA. u/spez is clearly the asshole in this relationship. You should divorce immediately.

@sidekick Considering Reddit's amitheasshole is one of the few Reddit communities not going black in response to the API changes, I'd say it's more like they are TA. I guess not everyone supports 3rd party apps, communities, and mods. If they come here and want to build the community on kbin they can just be added as mods.

I'll be honest I almost didn't subscribe because I had already unsubscribed from the Reddit version for not participating in the continued protest. but then I read this!

@sidekick Thanks for making it! AITA, BORU and RA were my favourite subreddits! And all the new Kbin/Lemmy content explaining the fediverse to redditfugees is really helpful as I have NFI what I'm doing!!
