Salut tout le monde. Je me demandais s'il y avait un service autour de Montréal où je peux faire dipper un frame de vélo pour enlever la rouille dessus? C'est un vieux BMX vintage et j'aimerais le récupérer.

Couldn't you just go to town on it with some rust removing agent?

However your best bet would likely be to have it welded. I've had Action Cycle on Papineau buff out rust for me before. I can show you pictures of before and after if you want.

Yes! I would like that. I've used rust remover on it but it could only go so far. And some nuts seem completely stuck.

Ah ok I see. It did a very nice job. But I dunno if I want to grind chrome though. I may look for other alternatives.

I'll still ask them anyway if they have any other solutions.

Sorry, detail: they didn't exactly grind it. They sanded, welded and clear coated it.
