Away on an island off Brisbane for a few days, Went for a run yesterday. Saw at least 25 whales!
That is incredible! Also good to see another smashrun user ๐
I've always been a casual runner, never really trained seriously and threw some gear on whenever my body started telling me it needed it. In recent years that's led to a pretty lax schedule. Yesterday I ran 5k and it marked 6 months of running at least once a week, which is the most consistent I've been in about a decade. I'm pretty happy with that.
Go you!
it is finally that time of year when running 11am and 7pm is a hot melting nightmare. early runs are better but you have to deal with +85% humidity. late runs are better but then you're dealing with moderate temps but crowded with more people and dogs and loss of daylight. it's my least favorite time of year for runs. give me back my spring and fall!
I had a blast today running in heavier rain. The only thing that sucked were drenched socks - and that im ruining my cliftons. I also ran at a event first time in my life, i guess adrenaline did its thing because i smashed all my PRs and even two weeks after i still cannot beat what i ran for 10k :D
Running harder than ever for this kind of workout, I just completed 6ร2km intervals.

Someone needs to add an F-you quick reply for that.
SmashRun always comes through with the positivity.
Going for a long slow run tomorrow morning, after missing such run last weekend, because we had a 35C heat wave here then.
Zone 2 mostly, some zone 3 because I am too undisciplined. :)
Done! 30km, little over 3 hours, and the brain is drowning in serotonin. :)
