NASA drops junk directly onto an American home: redditors want you to know that ackshully the legal framework here is very interesting, NASA might be able to argue they have no culpability in court

tl:dw: a fairly large canister from a nasa satellite plummeted from space into a guys house and almost killed his kid. there are some interesting new research papers about making satellites and even rockets out of tempered wood, could solve this

If a piece of NASA equipment did this then guaranteed SpaceX stuff is going to start falling from the sky and killing people. The future is going to be so cool you guys.
