How is spending the day baking something in your own kitchen meant to help you meet anyone?
Or are you supposed to bake in someone else's kitchen? I guess that'd be a neat way to meet someone.

"Uh, sure."
I might even work sometimes.
There are baking classes where one can meet other bread enthusiasts... or so I've been told.
Also, everybody eats, and learning any particular kind of cuisine crafting ability is likely to increase your ability to draw people for a date.
