Campbell soups are condensed so the company isn’t paying for shipping or shelving water.

Between the vacant stare, her eyebrows, and wearing fur to the grocery store, this is a wild ad.

Also, yay for a vintage ad that's not for cigarettes!

THat is the way of ads back then.

Character in the ads are middle-class, yet they show middle-class people are living in abundance, wearing luxury clothes, and go to grocery store.

They make it look like buying their product is fun, it is leisure time, shopping for fun.

You don't do budgeting and counting penny while buying their product.
