Amazing how none of these companies with tens of millions to spend on ransomware, have a fraction of those funds before to properly implement daily/weekly/monthly/cold storage backups so they can revert from those and maybe have a bit of data that needs to be manually entered again once back up.

Even with paying there's no guarantee they'll even be given the decryption key.
