Although this isn't causing any harm, it's annoying me. I flushed this sailor pen, and now there's water trapped in the section.

This is a place that the nib and feed doesn't come into contact with, so wicking the nib onto tissue paper doesn't help.

Anyone have any ideas?

Apparently this is common in sailor sections. I'd call it a design flaw. Especially for demonstrators like this.
