If you want a massively stupid and relatively harmless scandal to sink your teeth into look to none other than Stephen F. Austin's Bowling Team. Just so this title isnt clickbait here's the gist:

*Amber Lemke is the head coach of SFA’s women’s bowling team. *She hired her husband, Steve Lemke to work with her as an assistant coach. *Steve had a consensual extra-marital affair with a bowler on the team. *Amber found the text messages. *Steve was fired for breach of ethics.

Well, if they didn't think they needed a school rule about professors/coaches not diddling their students, they know now.
