Wow. I did not expect over a dozen. I don't know if I expected any.

Who would want this? Lunar resource prospecting companies with too much VC money?

If any of them are credible then it's a win for NASA. Their mission can still happen with someone else's money.

Yeah, Aug 1st came and went, and I hadn't heard anything, so I wasn't too hopeful.

They haven't disclosed who any of the partners are, and its still in the early stages, but I'm glad that there is still some hope for VIPER!

I wonder who would launch it?

NASA hasn't broken the contract with Astrobotic for Griffin, so I'm pretty sure it would still be a Falcon Heavy.

Ah, so NASA wouldn't be flying a mass simulator on Griffin. Makes sense.
