It's almost like raising prices without improving the service causes people to cancel 🤔

The OP is Netflix's perfect customer. They've paid for service for 44 days without using it once. Raising prices should cause you to cancel. If you stopped watching and kept paying, you are an idiot.

What makes you think they've been paying for it? This seems exactly like the typical message sent to ex-users of a subscription service to try to get them to subscribe again

Pretty sure info@join.netflix.com is for spam garbage emails when you don't have an account, else it'll probably say info@account.netflix.com

Not the poster but I thought the same, only without the name calling: Because you have to agree to z receive future email when writing your account at Netflix, at least if they have the EU implementation everywhere. Highly unlikely combination.

The email address is “joinnetflix.com”. That pretty much shows they canceled 44 days ago.

The description in the post mentions that they canceled it.

I just sign up and cancel every few months depending on whether I actually have time and something I want to watch.

I used to just let the subscription run, but not anymore.

I think there is a chance that I just train myself to stop watching Netflix altogether.

I'm kind of amazed that I haven't subscribed to Netflix in years now. They are always raising prices, and are too special to offer discounts (unlike competitors). Quality has generally gone downhill. They barely advertise, so I only hear of a few hits that escape the bubble. Most of their revenue seems to be from FOMO at this point, plus "eh, it's good enough". I'm happy to sail the high seas to obtain any highly-rated content they might accidentally produce.
